Corrections Policy

We would rather fix a mistake than hide one. Here is exactly what happens when something on DinnerSolved is wrong.

Last updated: October 10, 2026.

What we correct

  • Factual errors — wrong measurements, wrong product names, incorrect how-to steps, outdated prices or links.
  • Safety issues — anything that could make a project unsafe gets corrected immediately and flagged clearly.
  • Typos and clarity — fixed quietly as we spot them.

How corrections appear

Every article shows both its original publish date and its last-updated date. When a correction changes the meaning of a guide (not just a typo), we update the "Updated" date so readers can see the article was revised. For significant corrections, we add a short note at the top of the article explaining what changed.

Report an error

Spotted something wrong? We genuinely want to know:

  • Contact us with the article title and what needs fixing.
  • We aim to acknowledge reports within a few days and fix verified errors promptly — safety issues first.

Thank you to every reader who has ever pointed out a mistake. You make the site better.
