Editorial Policy

Trust is the whole business — especially with food. This page explains exactly how DinnerSolved guides are made, how we handle money, and what you can expect from us.

Last updated: October 10, 2026.

How our guides are made

  1. Research first. Every guide starts with real research: current cooking trends, standard techniques, prices, and what readers actually ask about the topic.
  2. AI-assisted draft, human-reviewed. Articles are drafted with AI assistance, then reviewed, fact-checked, corrected, and edited by a human editor before publication. Nothing goes live straight from a draft.
  3. Honest bylines. We do not invent author personas, fake credentials, or stock-photo "writers". Every article is bylined to the DinnerSolved Editorial Team — because that is who made it.
  4. Updated, not abandoned. Prices, products, and trends change. We revisit popular guides and show both the original publish date and the last update date on every article.

Recipe honesty standards

  • No fabricated testing. We never claim to have tested a recipe a certain number of times, and we never invent personal or family stories about a dish. Cooking methods are described as reliable standard preparations from general cooking knowledge.
  • Food safety is non-negotiable. We publish real, established numbers: poultry cooked to 165°F (74°C), leftovers reheated to 165°F (74°C), perishable food refrigerated within two hours and kept 3–4 days. We link the reasoning, not vibes.
  • No invented nutrition data. We do not publish calorie or macro counts we did not measure.
  • Structured data honesty. Our recipe markup only contains information visible on the page — never invented ratings, review counts, or nutrition values.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links in our guides are affiliate links. That means if you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. It does not change the price you pay, and it does not change what we recommend.

Our rule is simple: we only recommend things we would buy ourselves. Affiliate income never decides what appears in a guide, how it is ranked, or whether a product is mentioned at all. Every article carries a short disclosure notice directly under the byline, linking back to this page.

What we will never publish

  • Fake "roundup" posts for products we have never researched.
  • Paid placements disguised as editorial content. If a post is ever sponsored, it will be labeled as sponsored at the top, in plain language.
  • Cooking advice we would not follow in our own kitchens.

Corrections

We make mistakes sometimes. When we do, we fix them quickly and transparently — see our Corrections Policy. Spotted an error? Tell us.
