Privacy Policy
Short version: DinnerSolved collects as little as possible, uses it only to run the site, and never sells it. This page explains exactly what we collect and why.
Last updated: October 10, 2026.
What we collect
- Contact form: if you message us, we store your name, email address, subject, and message on our own server so we can read and reply to it. We do not use these details for marketing.
- Newsletter: if you subscribe, we store your email address so we can send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe anytime with the link in any email.
- Server logs: like every website, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) to keep the site secure and running. We do not combine these logs with anything that identifies you.
What we do NOT do
- No accounts, no sign-ins, no profiles.
- No third-party analytics, trackers, or advertising cookies by default. The site works fully without any of them.
- We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone, except if required by law.
Cookies
Right now, DinnerSolved sets at most one functional cookie: a session cookie that keeps the contact form's security token working while you use it. It expires when you close your browser and is never used for tracking.
Future advertising note: if we join an advertising network (such as Google AdSense) in the future, that network may set its own cookies to serve and measure ads. We will update this policy before that happens and explain your choices.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you (contact-form messages or newsletter subscriptions). Contact us and we will act promptly.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes (for example, adding advertising cookies) will be announced in the newsletter first.
